Hello,
I’m Sarah, the face behind Flour & Grace.
I’ve always had a passion for food and, most importantly, the memories and moments it creates.
In my twenties, I moved to California, where I had the opportunity to turn that passion into a career. I enrolled in a Professional Pastry course in San Francisco and trained as a Pastry Chef, before landing my dream role in a French-style patisserie.
In 2016, I founded my cake company, Sarah Hunter Cakes, creating bespoke cakes for all occasions throughout Sevenoaks and Kent. I feel incredibly grateful to every customer who has trusted me to be part of their special celebrations over the years.
After a decade of baking taking over my home, working as a tutor at Squires Kitchen International School, and regularly featuring in Cakes & Sugarcraft magazine, I felt ready for a new chapter. And so, Flour & Grace was born.
But this new chapter isn’t just about creating beautiful cakes. It’s about sharing the knowledge, skills and passion I’ve gathered over the years and helping others discover the joy of baking too.
Teaching others how to bake has always been something close to my heart, and being able to turn that passion into a career is truly a dream come true.
Flour & Grace is a place to learn, create and, most importantly, enjoy the wonderful world of baking — whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level.
I can’t wait to share it with you.
Sarah
